A Memphis native, Dawne Davis returned home to Tennessee after a career in political and nonprofit fundraising in Washington D.C. so she and her husband could raise their children closer to family.
A friend encouraged her to start a new career in real estate once Dawne and her family settled in Eagleville in Rutherford County, and 25 years later, they still call Eagleville home and Dawne has established herself as a leader in the industry.
From her very first sale – where she showed a client more than 40 properties in six months – to today, Dawne has built a career based on perseverance, tenacity and a strong desire to help others. And she still has the paystub from that first commission check to remind her of where she started.
Dawne’s expertise is in residential and relocation sales, and she is happiest helping homebuyers and sellers realize their dreams by making the process a seamless and easy one.
In 2024, she joined Bob and Marie Parks, Jenni Barnett, Danny Anderson, Scott Cornett, and Matt Ligon in launching Onward Real Estate and is the managing broker of Onward’s Rutherford County office.
She supports agents out of this office with advice and mentorship to help them grow their own careers in this industry.
Dawne serves on the Board of Directors for Middle Tennessee Association of REALTORS® and previously was treasurer and Division 2 vice president for Tennessee REALTORS®. She holds Certified Residential Specialist, Graduate REALTOR® Institute and Accredited Buyer’s Representative designations.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in social sciences from Hollins University in Roanoke, Va.
At home in Eagleville, Dawne entertains family and friends with meals made with home-grown ingredients from her garden and can often be found planning her next travels and dreaming of the next piece of pottery from somewhere around the world to add to her collection.
