Amy Dean is a dedicated Realtor with Onward Real Estate whose passion for service began long before her real estate career. After more than 30 years with Murfreesboro Police Department, where she specialized in Domestic and Sexual Violence, Amy retired with a legacy of compassion, perserverance, and unwavering commitment to helping others.
Amy's journey into real estate started years earlier. While patrolling neighborhoods during her law enforcement career, she found herself admiring homes in different subdivisions, imagining the possibilities each one held. She purchased her first rental property in 2000 out of concern for having financial security after retirement. That single investment sparked a long-term interest in buying, selling, and remodeling rental properties, all while working full- time at the police department.
When COVID hit and her own Realtor announced upcoming retirement, Amy earned her real estate license and stepped confidently on top a new chapter of service. Her mission has remained the same, to help people live their Dreams. Amy is especially passionate about guiding first-time home buyers, working tirelessly to reduce stress and make the biggest purchase of their lives feel achievable and empowering. She approaches every client as if they were family and lives by a simple principle she carried from law enforcement into real estate: Never Give Up.
Her dedication has been recognized with "Ninja of the Year" and "Rookie of the Year"awards, testament to her work ethic, compassionate approach, and commitment to excellence.
Outside of real estate, Amy's life has been shaped by discipline and determination. From age 3 to18 she rode, trained, and showed Quarter Horses, and she played both softball and basketball in middle and High School. In adulthood, remodeling and managing rental properties became her favorite full-time hobby, blending creavity with hands-on problem-solving.
Today, Amy brings her lifelong passion for helping others, her deep community roots, and her unwavering integrity to every client relationship. Her purpose remains clear: to help every person who desires home ownership achieve it-and to make the journey as smooth, stress free, and joyful as possible.
