Denise Battles

Denise Battles’ journey to real estate wasn’t a straight line, but every turn prepared her for the success she enjoys today.

A native of Braintree, Massachusetts, Denise grew up tagging along with her mother, who worked in the industry, and developed an early fascination with homes and how people live in them.

After earning both her undergraduate and master’s degrees from Bentley University just outside of Boston, she began her career as a CPA specializing in forensic accounting, fraud investigation and risk management.

She likes to joke that it was basically The Accountant, but with less action and more spreadsheets.

At 23, Denise purchased her first condo in Boston, blending her love of real estate with her strong business background. Four years later, a visit to Nashville sparked a new chapter. She fell in love with the city’s energy and community and decided to make it her home, a decision that set the stage for her real estate career.

Today, Denise brings that same analytical rigor and attention to detail to her work in the Greater Nashville area, helping everyone from first-time buyers and downsizers to investors, developers and luxury clients. Known for her sharp negotiation skills, financial savvy and unwavering advocacy, Denise ensures her clients’ goals are not only met but exceeded.

For her, the most rewarding part of real estate is the relationships she builds, many of which evolve into lasting friendships long after closing.

Beyond real estate, Denise is a longtime volunteer with Best Buddies of Tennessee and has shared a friendship with her current buddy for more than 12 years.

When she’s not working with clients or giving back to her community, Denise loves staying active through both playing and watching sports. She’s an avid traveler who enjoys exploring new places, learning about different cultures, and finding inspiration in the people and experiences she encounters along the way.
