Before starting his four-decade career in real estate, Danny Anderson wore many hats: as a teacher and press correspondent who sat next to Walter Cronkite and Jules Bergman during the Apollo 12 and Apollo 13 launches; as a commercial leasing agent; and as an owner of a gift shop, a party shop and later a restaurant with his wife, Teresa.
Danny was then drawn to a different career path and became a real estate agent thanks to his passion for architecture, helping others and working with historic properties. In 2024, after nearly 37 years in the industry, he joined Bob and Marie Parks, Jenni Barnett, Scott Cornett, Dawne Davis, and Matt Ligon in launching Onward Real Estate.
Danny is a managing broker based in Onward’s Cool Springs office and supports agents in Williamson County.
Danny’s many professional accomplishments include serving as president of the Williamson County Association of REALTORS® and being on the organization board three times. He has also been a member of the RealTracs and Studio Tenn boards, the Development Services Committee of Franklin, and Franklin’s Historic Zoning Commission. He’s served as president of The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County and president of the Carnton Plantation.
Danny holds a [Bachelor degree details] and Master of Education degree from the University of Memphis. In his spare time, he loves being with friends and family, traveling with his wife to experience new places, dining at great restaurants, and supporting his community in any way he can.
