Scott Cornett

Named Nashville Lifestyles Magazine’s Best Realtor in 2021 and voted a top realtor twice in a Nashville Scene readers’ poll, Scott Cornett knows how to make an impression on the community through hard work and industry insight.

Scott has a knack for aligning his client’s vision with the right living space, which has been the cornerstone of his business for more than 20 years. He was drawn to this work by a pull to help people realize their investment dreams just as he had done at the age of 23.

Scott’s degree in music business initially brought him to Music City and led him to spend 10 years in marketing and sales positions in the music business. His turn to real estate allowed him to take his growing love for Nashville and help others discover their own community here.

In 2024, Scott joined Bob and Marie Parks, Jenni Barnett, Danny Anderson, Dawne Davis, and Matt Ligon in launching Onward. He is the managing broker overseeing Onward’s Nashville office and supporting agents in the urban core. The Onward team of micro-local real estate experts help their customers navigate the market of buying and selling homes.

Scott has more than $100 million in sales volume and has completed extensive courses in real estate law, appraisal, finances, marketing, ethics and property management. He is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, Tennessee Association of REALTORS® and Greater Nashville Association of REALTORS®.
